This is the heart of it. A cylinder only earns when it's moving. It leaves your plant full, rides a route, lands at a customer, and is supposed to come home empty so you can fill it and send it out again. CATalytics follows it the whole way, and the faster that loop runs, the more each cylinder is worth to you.

As a cylinder is filled and loaded out, it's scanned against the gas type, the vehicle and the customer it's headed to. You know what left your plant and where it's going before the truck is out of the gate.

Once it’s delivered, the cylinder shows as held by that customer, with the date it arrived. If they sit on it, you can see exactly how long, which is the difference between demurrage you can bill and money you simply lose.
A follow-up call, not a write-off.
If a cylinder stays out past your limit, CATalytics flags it by name: which customer, which cylinder, last seen where. A long-held cylinder stops being a write-off and turns into a follow-up call.
